Our rate for research and report writing is £10 per hour with payment upon completion of the agreed programme of research. A nominal charge of £2 is made for trips to the repositories within the City of Nottingham to cover fuel costs. For trips to repositories outside of the City, we charge an hour to cover the travelling time and the cost of fuel. Photocopies are charged at cost. It may be necessary for you to sign a copyright form before we can proceed. Birth, marriage and death certificates are charged at cost plus a £1 handling charge. Payment - Cheques should be made payable to Looking Back. We would prefer customers overseas to pay by sterling cheque or draft although we are happy to accept a currency cheque or draft.
