Looking Back is a family business set up by David and Angela Taylor.

Angela and David both joined a major bank from school. Angela left in 1983 to bring up our family. She served as a Parent Governor of the local school for eight years. David, having attained Management status in the Bank, left in 1993 and has been engaged in Family History Research commercially since that time.

Angela started researching her maternal family history in 1992. The business grew out of this interest and we have been offering our services since 1994. A wealth of experience has been gained and we are confident we can tackle the most challenging assignments.

There is a family link between Branchlines and Looking Back. Although the two businesses are over 150 miles apart, we have close family ties, with Frances a partner in Branchlines and Angela a partner in Looking Back, being sisters. Each company benefits from our shared experiences.
